Employment Opportunities

The Shoshoni Senior Center is a charitable nonprofit organization and needs employees who put their heart into serving the community. The reward of working in a Senior Center is more than just a paycheck. We look for those who are kind and service-oriented. Employees need to be reliable and willing to proactively fulfill their responsibilities as well as step in as needed with a positive attitude. We expect employees to work independently and in cooperation with others to fulfill the mission of the Senior Center.

To apply for employment at the Senior Center, fill out an application, which can be downloaded below or picked up at the Senior Center. Return completed applications, preferably with a resume, to the Senior Center or by email. You can also apply on Wyoming at Work or Indeed for positions posted there. If the Senior Center is fully staffed, you can still submit an application for us to keep on file and consider for future openings.

Employment Positions
  • Director, full-time and currently combined with the Bookkeeper position
  • Assistant Director, full-time and currently responsible for Events and HR
  • Cooks, full-time or part-time, and need to be able to work alone in the kitchen sometimes
  • Custodian, part-time and responsible for cleaning the Senior Center and helping with dishes in the kitchen

  • The Senior Center pays the monthly membership fee for a Haven Direct Health membership, after your 90-day probationary period.
